The SC State Museum is extending a special offer for out-of-school kids and displaced families in the Midlands. With four floors of permanent and changing exhibits to explore, plus a 55ft digital dome planetarium, 4D Theater and state-of-the-art observatory the State Museum is the perfect destination for family fun.

Add-on a 4-d theater film and/or planetarium show for $5 each.

Get ready for a month-long Halloween adventure as the SC State Museum transforms into Museum of Oz

Travel past the giant legs of the Wicked Witch and follow the Yellow Brick Road through the museum to explore the wonders of Munchkinland and lots more. Families will delight in the immersive effects of the 4D Theater, enjoy fun-filled Saturdays in OZ and grown-ups can have their own unique OZ experience during Growl at the Moon.

The State Museum’s 2,500 square foot Boeing Observatory features a 1926 Alvan Clark 12 3/8-inch refracting telescope, outdoor viewing terrace, and adjoining classroom.
