Supplies Needed

Borax Slime Recipe – Option 1
This is the most basic slime recipe most of us have done in school. The plus side to this type of slime is that, after working with it a bit, it sticks together and makes the least amount of mess when playing.

You’ll Need:

• Two bowls (or 1 bowl and a large cup)
• Measuring spoons
• Measuring cups
• 2 stirring spoons or sticks
• 1 bottle of glue (white or clear glue)
• 1 cup warm water, plus more warm water to fill the glue bottle
• 1 tablespoon borax
• Optional: liquid food coloring or “mix-ins” if you’d like to make your slime fancy
• A plastic baggie or someplace to put your slime when you’re done

Borax Slime Recipe – Option 2 (Contact Solution Slime)
Borax Slimes are totally safe but Contact Solution is usually something most households have on hand. This slime tends to be a little stickier, but you can also make this one super fluffy if you use shaving cream!

You’ll need:

• A bowl
• Measuring spoons
• Measuring cups
• A stirring spoons or stick
• 1 bottle glue (white or clear glue)
• Baking Soda
• Contact Lens Solution
• Warm water
• Optional: liquid food coloring, shaving cream, or other “mix-ins”
• A plastic baggie or someplace to put your slime when you’re done

Borax Slime Recipe – Option 3 (Liquid Starch Slime)
A word of caution: This is the slimiest slime. But it’s also the easiest one to make!

You’ll need:

• A bowl
• A bottle of glue (white or clear)
• Mixing spoon or stick
• Liquid Starch
• Optional: liquid food coloring or “mix-ins” if you’d like
• A plastic baggie or someplace to put your slime when you’re done
