Eclipse Reaches Totality: 2:41 p.m.
Solar Eclipse Day Tickets include:
General admission to 4 floors of permanant and changing exhibit galleries featuring South Carolina art, science & tech, natural history and cultural history.
Reserved common area outside the museum for safe viewing of the total solar eclipse (with access to restrooms and water)
Solar Eclipse viewing glasses:
Remember, looking directly at a solar eclipse could damage your eyes. The museum will be providing guests with special glasses to safely observe the eclipse.
Access to the Robert B. Ariail Telescope Gallery and Boeing Observatory.
Please note: the Boeing Observatory and terrace will be open before and after, but not during, the Solar Eclipse on Aug. 21. The museum will be providing guests with special glasses to safely observe the Solar Eclipse from designated areas outside the museum.

Access to a special Planetarium Eclipse Show, Shadows from Space:
