Plantarium Shows

Live Sky TourLIz in the planetarium
Take a tour of the current night sky with planetarium staff in this special presentation that will identify constellations, planets and other celestial objects that grace the skies above Columbia. Guests will learn how the sky changes over the course of the night and journey through space to get a closeup look at Venus, Mars, and the Orion Nebula. Show Run Time: 30 mins.

Explore the night sky through the museum’s historic Alvan Clark telescope. Observing is included with museum general admission.

Unique and Special Needs Night – Pete the Cat

Join members of the South Carolina Bluegrass Association for a fun acoustic jam session in the museum’s East Gallery.
