Happy Feet 4D Experience

HAPPY FEET 4-D EXPERIENCE

Tap into adventure! Journey to Antarctica where you’ll meet a lively cast of penguin characters, including Mumble a heart-warming, tap dancing Emperor Penguin. When his colony of Emperor Penguins is faced with a mysterious fish famine, Mumble embarks on an amazing journey to discover the cause. Show Run Time: 15 mins.

PLANETARIUM SHOWS

LIVE SKY TOUR

Take a tour of the current night sky with planetarium staff in this special presentation that will identify constellations, planets and other celestial objects that grace the skies above Columbia. Guests will learn how the sky changes over the course of the night and journey through space to get a closeup look at Venus, Mars, and the Orion Nebula. Show Run Time: 30 mins.

Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure

This exciting new planetarium experience takes audiences on a remarkable journey into the relatively unexplored world of the “other dinosaurs,” those reptiles that lived beneath the water. Follow a family of Dolichorhynchops, also known informally as “Dollies,” as they traverse ancient waters populated with saber-toothed fish, prehistoric sharks and giant squid. Show Run Time: 40 mins.

Explore the night sky through the museum’s historic Alvan Clark telescope. Observing is included with museum general admission.
