Please note: planetarium, 4-D Theaters shows and blockbuster exhibit tickets are an additional $5 each.

Plantarium Shows

Live Sky TourLIz in the planetarium
Take a tour of the current night sky with planetarium staff in this special presentation that will identify constellations, planets and other celestial objects that grace the skies above Columbia. Guests will learn how the sky changes over the course of the night and journey through space to get a closeup look at Venus, Mars, and the Orion Nebula. Show Run Time: 30 mins.

National Parks AdventureNational Parks Adventure, Planetarium, South Carolina, Columbia, Things To Do
Narrated by Academy Award® winner Robert Redford, National Parks Adventure takes audiences on the ultimate off-trail adventure into the nation’s awe-inspiring great outdoors and untamed wilderness. This immersive visual experience takes viewers soaring over red rock canyons, hurtling up craggy mountain peaks and into other-worldly realms found within America’s most legendary outdoor playgrounds, including Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Yosemite, and Arches. Explore the night sky through the museum’s historic Alvan Clark telescope. Observing is included with museum general admission.

Unique and Special Needs Night – Cookie Mouse
