At-Home Virtual Morning Camp
Aug. 10 – 14 with Daily Sessions from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The State Museum is excited to introduce a week of At-Home Virtual Morning Camps for ages 6 – 11, sponsored by AFLAC! Camp sessions will focus on a different theme each day, including natural history, astronomy, robotics, art, S.T.E.M and more. Registration required and capacity is limited. Virtual Trivia Night – Small Town Proud
Thurs., Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m.

From their picturesque landscapes to their rich cultural histories, small towns have BIG charm! Join us with a beverage and your favorite snack as we explore what makes us “SC Small Town Proud”. Virtual Trivia Night – A Voice of Her Own
Thurs., Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

This year we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. Test your knowledge of SC women and politics. Don your comfy clothes and let’s raise our trivia glasses to the women who worked to gain a voice of their own. Sponsored by Columbia Craft Brewing Company. Fri., Aug. 21
Shows at 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Experience full dome planetarium shows with mind-bending visuals set to the music of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and more in the museum’s 55ft Digital Dome Planetarium. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote, this evening will also feature access to the exhibit, A Voice of Her Own: SC Women in Politics, photobooth fun and more.
