Dinosaurs: Mesozoic Monsters

Museum guests will discover firsthand life beyond the mists of prehistory, when monsters walked the earth. This huge, 6,500 square foot exhibit features moving, roaring, fleshed-out robotic creatures along with other hands-on activities to engage and enlighten visitors during their prehistoric journey.
See these fearsome, robotic creatures:
- Triceratops with a moving baby and a third, joy-stick activated baby Triceratops, operated by Museum guests.
- Allosaurus-one of the most ferocious predators of the Jurassic Period.
- Stegosaurus-one of the most familiar dinosaurs. Known for its huge protective spine armor and spiked tail.
- Pteranodon-prehistoric flying giant, perched near its nest.
- Ankylosaurus-it’s clubbed tail and spiked shell made it a very tough adversary for unwary predators.
- Utahraptor-a large wiry hunter with a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth and a deadly killing claw.
- Tyrannosaurs rex, the king of the dinosaurs and Stegosaurus, in a rare presentation as babies.
- Parasaurolophus, the giant duck-billed herbivore and a nest of hatchlings.
- Dilophosaurus, the 20-foot long, crest-skulled carnivore of “Jurrasic Park” fame.
- Deinonychus, a vicious raptor related to feared Velociraptor.
Other features of the exhibit include: a Tyrannosaurs rex full size skull, a “dig a fossil” pit, a touchable Triceratops horn piece, a 9-foot long fleshed-out Torosaurus head sculpture and much more.
$5 for adults, $3 for children (ages 3-12) in addition to general admission.
