This catalog was produced and developed in conjunction with the exhibition, Abstract Art in South Carolina: 1949-2012, which opened at the South Carolina State Museum in 2012. The in-depth exhibition focused on non-representational art from across the state from the past 60 years. This survey of more than 80 works of art by 44 artists includes abstract painting and sculpture.
