College Night
In partnership with USC Thursday After Dark, the South Carolina State Museum is inviting college students from across the state to experience the museum after hours. Enjoy:
- Four floors of museum exhibition galleries to explore, including Shared Sacrifice: South Carolina in World War II, Apollo 16 & Beyond: South Carolina in Space, Make Some Noise: the Science of Sound, and more.
- Night sky viewing in the Boeing Observatory (weather permitting)
- Planetarium Laser Shows: Best of Prince | 7:30 p.m. & Best of Pink Floyd | 9:00 p.m.
- 4D Theater Movie, Turtles 4D | 8:15 p.m.
USC students will receive free general admission to the museum and college students from other institutions will receive discounted general admission ($5) with a valid student ID. Planetarium laser shows and the 4D Movie are an additional $3 each for all students and are first come, first served the night of the event.
This event is for college students only.

USC Student Gen. Admission: FREE
Non-USC Student Gen. Admission: $5
Planetarium and 4D Shows: $3 each
All students must present their student IDs at the event in order to be admitted.
